The veterans of our country are our nation’s pride. They risked their lives for our tomorrow. They’re the heroes we look up to. And this Veterans Day, we, at Razzmajazz Dixieland Band are celebrating to show our appreciation for our heroes.

If you’re planning to join us this year, here are a couple of ways you can show veterans just how much they mean to you:

Train a Service Dog

One of the best ways to show appreciation for veterans and our soldiers is to train a service dog. You can adopt a puppy from the shelter and train it individually. Or you can adopt a puppy and enroll it into an institute that trains service dogs.

Training a service dog is just one of the many ways you can show our veterans and soldiers how much you appreciate them. These service dogs will become their ally in their time of need.

Spend Time with a Veteran

Spending time with a veteran is one of the best ways to show them how much they mean to you. Get to know a veteran. Get to know who they really are.

Get to know them personally. What inspired them to join the army? What have they learned from their time in the army? What piece of advice would they give someone who wants to join the forces?

Spending an hour with them every day will also teach you a lot about things you didn’t know. One individual’s experiences are another person’s treasure.

Give Them a Gift

Another way to show appreciation for veterans is by giving them a gift. You can gift them something handmade or give them something that will remind them of you.

You can also gift them one of Razzmajazz’s albums if they like and appreciate Jazz music. This’ll make their day.

You can hear some of the songs we’ve composed here and buy our CDs here.
